Desires Houston and The Night Game — worth checking out?

We've done Colette and Pendulum and want to try some of the other Houston clubs. What's the deal with Desires Houston and The Night Game? We can't find much info about them online.

Desires Houston is a smaller lounge-style venue. It's more intimate than the bigger clubs — maybe 20-40 people on a good night. The vibe is relaxed and the crowd tends to be a mix of experience levels. It's not as polished as Colette but it's comfortable and the staff is friendly. Good for a low-key night when you don't want the full production of a big club. The Night Game is bigger and newer — they bill themselves as Houston's largest lifestyle club. They've got a modern nightclub feel with a good dance floor, a selfie station (for vanilla-looking photos only, of course), and decent play areas. Saturday nights can get a solid crowd. Neither is quite at the level of Colette or Pendulum, but they're worth rotating in for variety.

The Night Game is fun if you go on the right night — their themed events draw the best crowds. Random weeknights can be sparse. Desires is hit or miss but when it's good, the smaller size actually works in its favor because everyone ends up talking to everyone. I'd say go into both with moderate expectations and you'll probably have a good time.
