We're an interracial couple (she's Black, I'm white) moving to Houston from the Midwest. How diverse and welcoming is the Houston lifestyle scene? We've had mixed experiences in other cities.

Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the country and the lifestyle scene reflects that. You'll see couples of every racial background and combination at the clubs. The Pendulum Club in particular has one of the most diverse crowds of any lifestyle club we've visited anywhere. Colette Houston is also diverse but skews slightly more white/Hispanic. XCLUSIV is notably diverse as well. We're a mixed couple too and have never felt unwelcome at any Houston venue. The city's diversity is one of its biggest strengths — people here are used to being around folks who don't look like them, and that openness carries over into the lifestyle community.

Houston native here and also part of an interracial couple. You will feel right at home. This isn't one of those cities where you walk into a lifestyle club and everyone looks the same. Houston's lifestyle community is as diverse as the city itself, and the vast majority of people are welcoming regardless of race. You'll have a great time.
Adding another voice — the Houston scene is genuinely welcoming to interracial couples. It's one of the reasons we chose Houston over Dallas when we relocated. The diversity makes for much more interesting nights out, honestly.
